From 9:15 to 4 it's all play: dogs head out in carefully sorted packs across three fenced acres for full-speed, ears-back running, guided the whole way by staff at the best ratio in the city, with water breaks whenever they need to recharge. And when it's −30 or +30 out, packs rotate through 2,300+ sq ft of climate-controlled indoor play.

Pick-up runs 4:00 to 5:50 through our digital pick-up form: grab your tired, happy dog without ever waiting outside. We're the only daycare in Edmonton with this technology.

Why Paw Valley?
3 secured, fenced acres of real grass, plus over 2,300 sq ft of climate-controlled indoor area to play and explore. Not the biggest room in a strip mall; an actual valley.

Our assessment process is the most rigorous in Edmonton, on purpose. Every dog your pup plays with has already cleared the same bar:

Confidence, in every season

Comfort & well-being
A comfortable, enriching environment is essential to your pet’s physical and emotional well-being. We built a place where your pup feels at home, relaxes, and thrives, easing stress, encouraging positive behaviour, and strengthening the bond between you and your furry friend.
Daycare pricing
Dog daycare at The Paw Valley is $38 a day for one dog, and a second dog from the same household is always half price ($57 for both). A 10-Day Play Pass brings it down to $33 a visit. Most Edmonton daycares make you call for pricing; ours is all right here, GST noted, no surprises.

Every season, handled
Edmonton dogs live in two climates, and the valley is built for both. In January, packs still get real outdoor time in the snow, then warm up in 2,300+ sq ft of climate-controlled indoor playrooms that stay cozy through a −30 °C cold snap. In July, the same rooms run cool while the yard offers shade and water breaks. Indoor-only daycares are a compromise with the weather; the valley just works with it.
An easy drop-off
The valley is at 7620 2 Ave SW, an easy drop-off for dog owners across southwest and south Edmonton (Windermere, Ambleside, Glenridding, Chappelle, Paisley, Heritage Valley, Terwillegar and Summerside), and on the way to work for commuters from Leduc and Beaumont. Drop-off runs 7:15 – 9:15 AM, so even an early shift works.

Daycare runs Monday to Friday: drop-off 7:15–9:15 AM, pick-up 4:00–5:50 PM. We're closed weekends and statutory holidays.
At a dog park, nobody screens who your dog plays with. At the valley, every single dog has passed the same assessment, plays in a pack matched by size, age and energy, and is watched all day by trained staff at a 15:1 ratio.
Dogs must be current on their core vaccinations: Rabies, DHPP (distemper/parvo) and Bordetella (kennel cough). We confirm records during registration, before your dog's first assessment day.
Always. Every dog plays in a pack carefully sorted by play style, age, size and energy, never one big free-for-all. Matching packs properly is the whole point of our assessment process.
It comes up in the assessment: intact dogs are considered case-by-case based on age and behaviour. Mention it in your interest form and we'll walk you through exactly how it works for your dog.
We look for healthy, vaccinated, well-socialized dogs with good recall and basic commands. The assessment day itself is relaxed: we meet your dog, watch how they interact, and make sure they genuinely love it here.

Playgroups stay deliberately small, so membership genuinely is limited. Three easy steps and your dog’s best day becomes their every day. Most families finish the interest form in under two minutes.
Tell us all about your furry friend: the details, the quirks, the services you're interested in.
If your dog is a good fit, we'll invite you to register with everything we need to care for your pup.
The fun part: your dog spends a relaxed day here so we can meet them and find their perfect pack.
