The daycare game, transformed

Most daycares give dogs a room. We give them a valley.

If you’ve been comparing doggy daycare in Edmonton, most of what you’ll find is an indoor room in an industrial bay. Beyond the biggest play space in Edmonton, what sets us apart is our commitment to individualized care and safety. We proudly run the most rigorous assessment process in the city, so your dog only ever plays with pups that meet the same high standard.

A better dog comes home

Daily socialization in the right pack builds behaviour and confidence around other dogs and people. The change shows up at home: calmer evenings, easier walks, a happier dog.

Every season, handled

A dog daycare built for Edmonton weather

Edmonton dogs live in two climates, and the valley is built for both. In January, packs still get real outdoor time in the snow, then warm up in 2,300+ sq ft of climate-controlled indoor playrooms that stay cozy through a −30 °C cold snap. In July, the same rooms run cool while the yard offers shade and water breaks. Indoor-only daycares are a compromise with the weather; the valley just works with it.

Frequently asked questions

The things every good dog parent asks

How much does dog daycare cost in Edmonton at The Paw Valley?

$38/day for one dog, $57/day for two dogs from the same household, and as low as $33/day on a 10-Day Play Pass (passes are prepaid, valid 60 days; prices before GST).

What are your daycare hours?

Daycare runs Monday to Friday: drop-off 7:15–9:15 AM, pick-up 4:00–5:50 PM. We're closed weekends and statutory holidays.

What's the difference between doggy daycare and a dog park?

At a dog park, nobody screens who your dog plays with. At the valley, every single dog has passed the same assessment, plays in a pack matched by size, age and energy, and is watched all day by trained staff at a 15:1 ratio.

What vaccines are required for my dog to attend daycare?

Dogs must be current on their core vaccinations: Rabies, DHPP (distemper/parvo) and Bordetella (kennel cough). We confirm records during registration, before your dog's first assessment day.

Do you separate dogs by size or temperament?

Always. Every dog plays in a pack carefully sorted by play style, age, size and energy, never one big free-for-all. Matching packs properly is the whole point of our assessment process.

Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered?

It comes up in the assessment: intact dogs are considered case-by-case based on age and behaviour. Mention it in your interest form and we'll walk you through exactly how it works for your dog.

What does my dog need to pass the assessment?

We look for healthy, vaccinated, well-socialized dogs with good recall and basic commands. The assessment day itself is relaxed: we meet your dog, watch how they interact, and make sure they genuinely love it here.
