The second dog is half price. Forever.
Dogs do everything better in twos: they settle faster, play harder, and nap deeper with a friend along. So the friend is priced like one. Add a second dog to any daycare day for $19, to any boarding night for $25, and they spend the whole day together.

What the money actually buys
Reasonable prices, unreasonable amounts of joy.
Dog daycare prices in Edmonton run a wide range, and the number alone never tells you what the day looks like. Ours buys the city's largest daycare yard: 3 fenced acres of real grass, 2,300+ square feet of climate-controlled indoor play for the deep-freeze days, and a 15:1 staff ratio, which means somebody always knows exactly how your dog's day is going.
And be honest about what the alternative costs. A cheap day in a crate is not actually cheap; it just bills the dog instead of you. What $38 really buys is a guilt-free workday, a couch that survives it, and the best part of your evening: a dog at the gate who is grass-stained, wrung out, and certain this was all their idea.
Travelling? Boarding stays kind to the math: $45 to $50 a night with the full daycare day included, and evenings that end with a tuck-in between 8 and 10 PM, cameras on overnight.
