Our dog daycare & boarding facility

Edmonton's biggest backyard for dogs: a 3-acre daycare & boarding facility.

A sprawling 3-acre secure outdoor play area and 2,300 sq ft of climate-controlled indoor space, run with the best staff-to-dog ratio in the city. This is what it looks like from above.

Let’s put that in Edmonton units

How big is three acres, actually?

Over 2 football fields (or more than 7 NHL rinks) of fenced grass 🏈

…and none of it is concrete. Your dog’s backyard is probably 1/25th of this.

Edmonton’s largest outdoor play area

Three acres of “go on, run”

Say goodbye to cramped, concrete-run daycares. This is a natural environment with the freedom and stimulation dogs actually deserve: spacious, fully fenced, and built for safety, with green grass all summer and fresh snow to plow through all Edmonton winter.

Three full acres

The largest secure, fully fenced outdoor play area in Edmonton: expansive space to explore, run, and play without ever feeling cramped or confined.

Real grass, not concrete

No concrete runs, no artificial turf. Lush, natural grass is healthier and more stimulating for your dog’s paws, joints, and nose, in every season.

Perfect for rest & indoor play days

2,300 sq ft of climate-controlled calm

Our indoor playrooms keep every dog comfortable year-round: warm through a −30 °C cold snap, cool through a July heat wave. Thoughtful design keeps the space healthy, safe, and easy on growing joints and old bones alike.

  • Climate-controlled, constant fresh air
  • Deep-cleaned multiple times daily
  • Cushioned rubber floors, gentle on joints
  • Individual rest areas between play

Where boarders sleep

The overnight wing: private suites, no kennel rows

Boarders sleep in their own private, climate-controlled suites: own door, own space, made up with the bed and blanket from home. The final tuck-in and washroom break happens between 8 and 10 PM, and suites are camera monitored through the night. It’s the part of the facility most daycares don’t have, and most kennels wouldn’t show you.

Safety & cleaning, daily

The boring checklist that keeps it safe

  • Secure, double-checked perimeter
  • Trained staff on every group at 15:1
  • Packs matched by size & temperament
  • Strict vaccination requirements (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella)
  • Deep cleaning multiple times daily

A tight-knit pack

Dogs at Paw Valley are like family; many of them have known and played with each other for years. New members join a pack, not a crowd.

Inspiring growth

Expert training and guidance runs through the whole day: consistent support and encouragement that turns good dogs into great ones.

A note on visits

Why we don’t do tours

The valley doesn’t offer tours or walk-in visits, and that’s deliberate. Our outdoor space is three open acres of grass and our indoor space is free-roaming playrooms; there are no hallways or viewing areas to walk a visitor through, and a stranger in the space unsettles the pack. It’s the same reason you can trust it: nobody wanders through your dog’s day. The way in is the assessment day, where staff meet your dog, your dog meets the pack, and you get the full story of how it went.
